The three things that must stay aligned
Piece count: if there are seven physical boxes, the shipment must say seven. Measurements: each of those seven boxes needs accurate weight and dimensions. Labels: every box needs the correct courier label attached to that physical piece.
Customs contents are shipment-level. List everything being sent across the seven boxes in one accurate declaration. This reduces duplication and gives our team a cleaner picture of the consignment.
Why accurate multi-box measurements matter
We avoid made-up “from” prices for a multi-box move because the real cost changes materially with the shipment details.
One consignment, multiple packages, one complete customs story
The physical package data and the customs goods data serve different purposes. The carrier needs to know how many objects it is moving and their size. Customs needs to know what goods are crossing the border and their values.
